Laboratories can now lay out a custom multiplex qPCR panel online with the Bandit Biosystems panel designer. It turns a target list into a draft layout that our molecular biologists can review, so custom projects start from a concrete plan.
How it works
- Choose a size. Start from a single tube of four targets or go up to about ten tubes. You can change the size later.
- Add your targets. Search our library of viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, resistance genes and controls, or load one of our stock panels as a starting point and adjust it.
- Write in anything we don't list. Custom targets are welcome, and we'll tell you whether they're feasible.
- Send the request. Your layout, sample type, instrument and notes go to info@bandit.bio, and a molecular biologist replies with feasibility, tube count, dye channels and timeline.
Good to know
- The designer is a planning tool. Final tube count and dye assignments are confirmed by our team, not by the layout.
- Target counts exclude internal controls.
- Custom assays are typically delivered in 3 to 10 weeks.
